Terms of service

Last updated: August 1, 2026

These terms govern the use of Tapfy. They're written to be understood. By creating an account or using the service, you accept what follows.

What Tapfy is

Tapfy is a tool for counting inventory with your phone, writing NFC labels, generating dynamic QR codes, and creating short links with stats. A single short link can live on an NFC chip and a QR code, and its destination is edited from the dashboard.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
  • The data you enter (destinations, titles, counts) is yours, and you're responsible for having the right to use it.
  • You must provide truthful information when signing up.

Acceptable use

You may not use Tapfy to:

  • Host or redirect to phishing content, malware, scams, or illegal activities.
  • Impersonate others or infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Send spam or abuse the redirector to bypass security filters.

We maintain a list of blocked domains and may deactivate any link that violates these rules or is reported for abuse, without prior notice if there's a risk to third parties. A deactivated link shows a “link disabled” page.

Plans, pricing, and billing

  • The Free is free for personal use, with no expiration, subject to the limits published on the pricing page.
  • The PRO plan is billed in advance (annually or monthly). Web payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record; in the app, they're processed by Apple or Google.
  • You can cancel whenever you want: you stay PRO until the end of the paid period and it doesn't renew. We don't offer partial refunds for periods already started, unless required by applicable law.

See the details on pricing.

Service availability

We work to keep the redirector and the dashboard always available, but the service is provided “as is”. We may perform maintenance, changes, or improvements. If we were to discontinue the service, we'd give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Intellectual property

The Tapfy brand, the software, and the design belong to CyV Uruguay SAS. Your content is yours; you grant us permission to process it only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tapfy is not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from misuse, from the failure of a destination you configured, or from decisions made based on the stats. The service is a support tool, not a certified accounting system.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts of Montevideo.
