1. 01

   Use the variant's Barcode field

   In Shopify, each variant has a Barcode field. That's the one Tapfy uses to match what you scan. The SKU isn't used for scanning: it's an internal code of yours.

2. 02

   One code per variant

   If you sell the same model in several sizes, each size is a variant and needs its own code. That way the count tells 42 apart from 43.

3. 03

   Internal codes for products without one

   For products without a factory code, generate an internal label from the Catalog. You can assign it a multiplier (for example, the case code adds 12).
